Get ready cause on Monday, April 17, 2006 Verizon (US Sponsor) is hosting a PGR3 Tournament. See you there! Tournament Link
11/4/2006 No TimeLately I haven't really had any time to play 360 or even update my blog. Work/Family has totally been consuming my life. They family stuff I don't mind, but work is just bananas.
Hope everyone is well and hope to game with you guys/girls soon! 29/3/2006 Shakira on American IdolWow. She is simply amazing. I normally don't watch American Idol but tonight was must see tv. The performace was a little too short and they kept the camera moving at all times and didn't really focus on Shakira. But when they did you could see this ultra sexy Colombian in all her exquisite glory. Just look at that smile!
What I noticed the most about her was that naturally gorgeous face, the beautifully sculpted stomach and......oh yeah, those hips don't lie! And as usual Wyclef gave a great performance! And the Fugees T, I've got one and I'm gonna start rockin' it too. Can't wait to see what they (Fugees) are gonna do with their upcoming album.
Never in a million years would I have guessed that Shakira and Wyclef would do a calobo, do I hear REMIX???? 28/3/2006 Ebay UpdateThankfully everything went very smoothly with my order and delivery. The motherboard is working perfectly. I was very hesitant about using EBay to order anything from anyone. I can't say that I'm totally convinced about using it, but I'll always give it a second thought if I need something in a pinch. 26/3/2006 Shakira - Hips Don't Lie VideoAs you can see I changed the layout to my site. This was to accomodate the Shakira video I have added, Hips Don't Lie. And they sure don't.
Shakira has to be the most beautiful woman on earth, next to my wife, who is also Colombian. Colombians also have the best food, plato tipco all the way baby!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the site and Shakira's new video as much as I do. 23/3/2006 Blazing Angels (Demo)First of let me start by saying that downloading a demo for free from Xbox Live is a great feature and a very smart move by Microsoft and company. You download a demo, play it, like it and buy it or rent it.
I heard that Blazing Angels was available for download on the Marketplace so I decided to give it a go. Download took about 10 mins, give or take a minute. I have a great broadband connection, beep beep! But after downloading the demo I was completely amazed at this game with some aspects of it. The controls were pretty smooth, the formations of the fighters and the graphics were simply amazing, but when are they not on the 360? The only thing I really didn't like the mission based levels.
It was pretty easy to start controlling the aircraft and I had a lot of fun flying around the training city although the "Turn Left" voice was extremely annoying. The speed felt dead on as I would go as high into the sky as I could and then make a sharp nose dive to see how much speed I acutally could get and then try pulling up at the last possible minute. I died a lot doing this but had fun anyway.
The fights seemed a little too easy throughout the demo though. I would go as fast as I could to the approaching aircraft, shoot at them and once I would pass them make a sharp turn to be behind them. They didn't really react to well to that or even try to fight or flight. I hope the real deal version has AI that is better than this.
I've read two reviews on the game so far, teamxbox.com (8.5) and gamespot.com (6.9) and they are both at two different ends of the spectrum.
If you can, read both reviews, download the demo and check it out for yourself. I really didn't see eye to eye with gamespot.com's review, I actually liked the game and wouldn't have given it such a low score.
But that's me......make the decision for yourself. |
